The idea behind the brand is that portions of the proceeds from all products purchased go directly to help the children of Cambodia.
I was commissioned to create the new branding for the company. As Cartel was a significant part of the name the client and I decided to approach the project with a more comical view and play around with the stereotypes of South American gang culture.
That is where our crazy mascot came from. To soften the logo a bit I created a custom script to balance the whole design when used in its lock-up format. Each element from the logo can be used separately while maintaining the look and feel of Clique Cartel.
