In early 2024 I was commissioned by Archibald Williams to create an artwork for NBA Australia and TAB as part of basketball legend, Gary Payton's visit to Australia.
The artwork was created digitally and then printed and installed by Mister Wallpaper and used as a backdrop at Hotel Steyne, Manly for the Gary Payton Block Party.
The idea was to create a piece inspired by old fashioned postcards and combine elements that relate to Many Beach, Australia, basketball and Gary Payton himself.
Waves, cockatoos, seagulls, whales and basketball! Such a fun project to be a part of and I enjoyed every minute of it.
